F.T.Ch. Ebonstar Black Gold (Buddy) is an eighty lb. seven yr. old black lab a half bother to Ebonstar Lean Mac. He is a fiery retriever on land and water and is an excellent marker. His handling leaves very little to be desired .He is also my hunting partner and we've had many memorable
hunts together over the years, and hope for many more. His first breeding just over three years ago resulted in a fine litter including one yellow (he throws yellow). Three males are running trials at this time with two of them having wins in open all age before they were three, one in Texas and one in British Columbia. The other one has a win in
Jr. (derby) and placings in the Qual with limited trialing. This dog is now back in training and looks as though he can also play in the open. Bud has another litter that are now five months old and five or six of this group are being trained for trials and look exceptionally exciting.
