Kristy is my first Labrador Retriever and the first dog that I have trained. After having located Clubmead from a satisfied customer on the "net", negotiations went well and I picked up Kristy at the airport in Toronto two days after retirement in May 1996. Training went well and she was in the marsh that September. After joining the Luther Marsh Hunting Retriever Club, training progressed slowly but according to schedule. Kristy passed her first SEASONED hunt test in Sandusky Ohio on April 18, 1998, and three more in the next 30 days, receiving her United Kennel Club "HR" title on May 17, 1998. She is now training for upland tests and will be my constant hunting partner this fall.
