What do you offer
or dog while he/she stays there?
Your dog will stay in an enclosed run inside our well ventilated, climate
controlled building. Three times a day, we let him/her outside to romp
in our large heated concrete exercise pens. The time outside varies depending
on the weather, but an average would be an hour each time. With your permission,
we let them socialize with other dogs of similar nature and size while they
play outside. When they are brought inside again, they are given adequate quiet
time to relax. Our trained staff interacts with your dog at least a dozen times
a day to keep him feeling happy and loved.

Do
they need vaccinations to come and stay?
Yes. All pets entering our kennel
will need to have had their owners show us Veterinary certificates indicating
that they have been vaccinated with the standard canine or feline vaccines.
We also require that dogs be vaccinated for Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough).
We do not allow pets that have been vaccinated by non veterinarians to enter
the building. We need
cats to have had Rabies vaccine as well and prefer them to have had a feline
leukemia vaccine.

What
about feeding?
We feed a dry dog food. It is a quality poultry based
food with no Soya that we have found agrees with most dogs even when they are
changed to it abruptly. We also have a Lamb and Rice food for dogs with allergies
to chicken. Our main feeding is in the morning and we will feed once more at
a request at no extra charge. Your dog is given an amount of food that we have
experienced is more than necessary to keep his tummy full and happy all day.

Can
we bring our own food?
Yes, of course. If your dog is on a special diet because
of food allergies or other reasons, or if you simply feel more comfortable having
him on his own regular type of food, we will feed it to him for you. We try
to keep him on his regular feeding schedule as well.

My
pet is on medication. Is that a problem?
No problem at all. As long as it isn't a contagious condition
that may affect the other animals, your pet is welcome and we will follow your
explicit instructions on administering what he needs.

Are
there any extra charges for the extra things we need done for our pet?
Not usually unless it takes an abnormally large amount
of time to administrate.
